Wolves win Regionals

SLIDELL — The Iron Wolves won the Regional Powerlifting competition this weekend at Pope John Paul in Slidell. All
11 of the varsity wrestlers also qualified for the State Chapmionships to be held in mid-March in Pineville.
123lb weight class — Blake Ricalde placed 2nd overall and 1st in 5A
132lb weight class — Nick Anzalone placed 2nd overall and 1st in 5A
148lb weight class — Korey Miller placed 1st overall
165lb weight class — Ty Timphony placed 1st overall; Parker Galloway placed 3rd overall
181lb weight class — Alfred Johnson placed 2nd overall, 1st in 5A; Mitchell Blaise placed 4th overall
198lb weight class — Tyler Tourelle placed 5th overall
Super Heavy Weight — Mickey Johnson placed 1st overall
Grant Theo and Kyle Cuntz also had great meets and qualified at 148 and 198, respectively.
